Shami will return in the fourth Test
India’s senior-most fast bowler Mohammed Shami is expected to be in the playing XI for the fourth Test starting March 9 against Australia in Ahmedabad. Shami was rested from the third Test in Indore due to workload. The Indian team management, in consultation with the medical staff, has drawn up a workload management plan for fast bowlers who have played a lot of IPL (Indian Premier League) matches and are involved in ODI World Cup plans. Shami played the first two Tests and was also in the ODI squad. He was replaced by Umesh Yadav in the team for the Indoor Test.
