The price of the new Redmi tablet 3GB + 64GB is Rs. 14,999, 4GB + 128GB version at Rs. 17,999 and the 6GB + 128GB model is priced at Rs. 19,999. It comes in Graphite Grey, Moonlight Silver and Mint Green colors. The tablet will be available on Mi.com, Mi Home, Flipkart and retail outlets starting October 5, 2022 at 12 PM IST. The 6GB + 128GB Mint Green model will be available exclusively on Mi.com starting October 5 at 10 AM IST.

As part of the introductory offer, the Redmi Pad will be available for Rs 12,999, Rs 14,999 and Rs 16,999 respectively. Additionally, there is a 10 percent bank discount by Bank of Baroda exclusively on mi.com from October 5 to 9.

The tablet is powered by MediaTek Helio G99 SoC paired with ARM Mali G57 MC2. It comes in three versions: 64GB/128GB UFS 2.1 storage with 3GB/4GB/6GB LPDDR4x RAM, which is further expandable via microSD card.

The Redmi Pad runs on Android 12 with MIUI 13 on top. The company promises version 2 Android and MIUI updates and 3 years of security updates. The tablet is equipped with quad speakers, Dolby Atmos and an 8,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support, while the company provides a 22.5W adapter in the box. It measures 250.5×158.1×7.1mm and weighs 465 grams. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.3, dual-band Wi-Fi and a USB Type-C port.

Moving on to the optics, the Redmi Pad packs an 8MP rear camera that can record videos at FHD resolution. On the front is an 8MP sensor with a 105-degree field-of-view (for 4GB/6GB models) FocusFrame for video chats. The company is offering 2 months of free YouTube Premium subscription.
