OPPO says other models will soon get support for the SA 5G network, but no timeline has been specified for now. Jio True 5G is said to be one of the most advanced wireless networks in the world as it offers independent architecture, zero dependence on 4G network and enhanced low-latency, network slicing, M2M and edge computing.
OPPO 5G support in India
OPPO has rolled out support for 5G network in most of its phones in India. The company has launched support for the Jio network, which has a mix of 5G spectrum across 700MHz, 3500MHz and 26MHz. The 700MHz band is said to provide deep indoor coverage to all Jio users. There is carrier aggregation support that combines multiple frequencies into a single ‘data highway’ for impressive speeds.
