MediaTek Dimensity 9200 set to debut on November 8th, will take on Apple A16 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoCs
The chipset is said to have scored Antutu has over 1.26 million points, a 26 percent improvement over Dimension 9000. Sources suggest that the SoC will have a feature. The Cortex-X3 Prime CPU core is said to offer at least a 25 percent increase in raw performance.

The MediaTek Dimension 9200 chipset is said to be paired with the Immortalis-G715 and according to recent rumours, will get support for ray tracing. Additionally, there was a leak GFXBench results show that the chipset was able to render the 1080p Manhattan 3.0 benchmark at 328fps and scored 228fps in the Manhattan 3.1 tests.
In comparison, Apple’s A16 Bionic managed 280fps and 200fps in benchmarks. Dimensionity scores 9000+ 220fps and 160fps. Finally, the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 managed scores of 281fps and 188fps respectively.
According to reports, the impressive scores are due to the ARM Immortalis-G715 GPU, which is said to support raytracing. For the CPU, the Dimensity 9200 opts for the new Cortex-X3 clusters, which are clocked at 3.05GHz, 2.85GHz and 2.00GHz. That’s pretty much all about the Dimension 9200 right now, but we won’t have to wait long to find out more details.
