Encounter in Jammu and Kashmir’s Avantipora last night, security forces killed a terrorist

 

Awantipora Encounter: In Avantipora of Jammu and Kashmir, the security forces got a big success in the early hours of Tuesday (February 28). Two days after a Kashmiri Pandit was killed by terrorists, security forces killed a terrorist during an encounter in Awantipora.

Describing the encounter on Twitter, the Kashmir Zone Police wrote, “An encounter broke out between security forces and terrorists at Awantipora in Pulwama district. Further information will be given soon.”

While giving an update on the operation against the terrorists, the Jammu and Kashmir Police said, “One terrorist has been killed in the encounter. However, his body has not been recovered yet. The exchange of fire between security forces and terrorists continued till 4 am.” Continued. The process of encounter continued till 4:30 in the morning.

The injured had died in the hospital

Earlier on Sunday, terrorists shot dead a Kashmiri Pandit (Sanjay Sharma) in Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir, when he was going to the local market. Officials said that on February 26, terrorists shot Kashmiri Pandit Sanjay Sharma in Pulwama district of South Kashmir. He was going to the local market.

After being shot, Sanjay was admitted to the hospital in an injured condition, where doctors declared him dead a few hours later. It was told by the Kashmir Zone Police that the terrorists had fired on a minority named Sanjay Sharma. He was a resident of Achan in Pulwama district. Sanjay was going to the local market when this incident took place.
