IPL 2023: KKR Opener Jason Roy Fined For Breaching Code of Conduct During RCB Clash

IPL 2023: Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) opener Jason Roy was on Wednesday fined 10 per cent of his match fee for breaching the IPL Code of Conduct during their match against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium. The right-handed batsman accepted his crime. The England star was instrumental in helping KKR post 200/5 in 20 overs after being asked to bat first. His 29-ball 56 at the crease included four fours and five sixes.

The 32-year-old was dismissed by RCB pacer Vijaykumar Vaishak on the last ball of the 10th over. Roy moves across the crease as Vushak’s delivery goes straight into his leg stump. Roy punches a vine, angrily yelling at it.
