Women’s Premier League 2023: From schedule and format to live telecast, know A to Z information

WPL 2023 Live Streaming: The first season of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) is now just a few days away. The league will begin on March 4 with a match between Mumbai Indians and Gujarat Giants. In this first season, 5 teams are participating in which 22 matches will be played in 23 days. The WPL champion will be decided on March 26.

In the WPL, all five teams play two matches against the remaining four teams in the league stage. In this way a total of 20 matches will be played in the league stage. After this, the team topping the points table will get a direct entry into the final, while there will be an eliminator match between the number-2 and number-3 team. The winner of this eliminator match will be the second team in the WPL final.

Where are the matches played?
All matches will be played at two stadiums in Mumbai. 11 matches will be played at DY Patil Stadium and 11 matches will be played at Brabourne Stadium.

Where to watch live match?
Viacom-18 has acquired the digital and TV broadcast rights for all matches of the Women’s Premier League. In such a situation, a total of 22 matches will be telecast live on Viacom-18’s sports channels ‘Sports-18 1’, ‘Sports-18 1HD’ and ‘Sports-18 Khel’. Live streaming of these matches will be available on Jio Cinema app.
