Umesh Yadav’s Batting Record: As part of the Border Gavaskar Trophy, the third Test match between India and Australia started in Indore from Wednesday. At the same time, in response to this, the Australian team, which went into bat, scored 156 runs at the end of the first day’s play and took a lead of 47 runs over the Indian team. But on the first day, Indian team’s fast bowler Umesh Yadav played an innings of 17 runs with the help of 2 sixes in 13 balls with the bat. His innings is very special for him as he has equaled the record of Virat Kohli.

Batting in the third Test, Umesh Yadav hit two amazing sixes. With the help of his brilliant sixes, he equaled run machine Kohli’s record, leaving behind veterans like Yuvraj Singh and former India coach Ravi Shastri. Umesh hit two sixes to take his tally to 24 sixes in Test cricket. Virat Kohli also hit the same number of sixes for India in Tests. On the other hand, Umesh left Yuvraj Singh and Ravi Shastri with 22 sixes respectively.

Team India was bowled out after just 33.2 overs
Team India also created an embarrassing record in the third Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2023. In the first innings of this Test, Team India could only bat for 33.2 overs. It is the fourth lowest number of overs bowled by an Indian team in the first innings in the history of Test matches at home. Along with this, the Indian team collapsed for just 109 runs. This is India’s fourth lowest score against Australia at home.
