Tecno has confirmed that the standard Phantom X2 will launch in India by the end of this month, while the Phantom X2 Pro will launch early next year, most likely by January.

Tecno Phantom X2 is priced at SAR 2699 (roughly Rs 59,200) For the 8GB + 256GB model, the Phantom X2 Pro is priced at SAR 3,499 (roughly Rs. 76,700) For 12GB + 256GB model in Saudi Arabia. We will know the Indian prices of the phones when they are launched in the country.

Tecno Phantom X2 and X2 Pro feature a 6.8-inch full-HD+ curved AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate, Corning Gorilla Victus protection, 93.5 percent screen-to-body ratio, P3 wide color 8+ gamut. 2Bit display, CNC middle frame, military grade anti-glare glass and TUV SUD 36-month display fluency.
These phones are powered by MediaTek Dimension 9000 5G SoC paired with Mali-G710 MC10 GPU and Hyper Engine 5.0. The Phantom X2 has 8GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The X2 Pro has 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. There is an additional 5GB of expandable RAM for better multitasking.
The phones run Android 12-based HiOS 12.0 skin out of the box. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS and a USB Type-C port for charging. The Phantom X2 and X2 Pro are equipped with a vapor chamber cooling system and an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. Tecno Phantom X2 and X2 Pro pack a 5160mAh battery with 45W fast charging support.
Moving on to the optics, the Tecno Phantom X2 sports a triple camera setup at the rear which includes a 64MP (RGBW) primary camera with OIS, f/1.6 aperture, LED flash, 7th Gen IMAGIQ 790 ISP and 5th Gen AI processor APU 590. The primary sensor is paired with a 13MP secondary lens and a 2MP sensor.
On the other hand, Phantom X2 Pro has a 50MP primary sensor with 7P lens, 7th Gen IMAGIQ 790 ISP, 5th Gen AI processor APU 590 and quad flashlight, 50MP world’s first retractable portrait lens and 13MP lenses. The phones ship with a 32MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats.
