Please tell Iyer will take time to join KKR and play matches for the team. He will be given an injection on Thursday as part of the treatment process for the back injury. Until Iyer gets the go-ahead from the NCA, he will remain in Bangalore.

However, it is not yet clear how long it will take for him to return. Iyer needs NCA fitness clearance to join his franchise KKR. On the other hand, keeping in mind the ODI World Cup to be held this year, Iyer will rush for the IPL.
