The Redmi Note 12 series recently broke cover in China. The series includes Redmi Note 12 5G, Redmi Note 12 Pro, Redmi Note 12 Pro+ and Redmi Note 12 Explorer Edition. It was launched as an upgrade to the previous generation Redmi Note series, the Redmi Note 11 series. The Redmi Note 12 family is currently only available in China and is likely to be a hit Indian shores by March. The Redmi Note 12 Pro comes in four storage options: 6GB RAM/128GB storage, 8GB RAM/128GB storage, 8GB RAM/256GB storage and 12GB RAM/256GB storage. The base 6GB/128GB unit is priced at RMB 1,699 (approx. Rs. 19,380), followed by the 8GB/128GB model at RMB 1,799 (approx. Rs. 20,500), the 8GB/256GB variant at RMB 2,090 (approx. Rs. 90), and the 12GB/256GB option at RMB 2,099 (approx. around Rs 23,900).

The Redmi Note 11 Pro also ships in three storage options: 6GB RAM/128GB storage, 8GB RAM/128GB storage and 8GB RAM/256GB storage. The base 6GB/128GB unit is priced at Rs. 17,999, followed by the 8GB/128GB model at Rs. 20,999 and the 8GB/256GB variant at Rs. 24,999.

The Redmi Note 12 Pro has a flat design with a boxy look. The bottom left corner houses the Redmi branding and the top left corner of the rear panel houses a squarish camera island that houses the triple camera setup. You get a volume rocker and a power button on the right side that doubles as a fingerprint reader.

It has a thin bezel display with a center-aligned punch-hole cutout at the top for the selfie camera. The handset has dual stereo speakers and a USB Type-C port for charging at the bottom. The Redmi Note 11 Pro has a boxy and flat design with a rear glass panel that features the Redmi branding in the lower left corner and a rectangular camera module in the upper left corner. Moving to the front, it has a thin bezel display on three sides and a thick chin at the bottom.

The Redmi Note 12 Pro sports a triple rear camera setup led by a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor with f/1.88 aperture, 6P lens and OIS support along with an 8MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP macro shooter. A 16MP selfie snapper at the front takes care of selfies and video calling needs.

On the other hand, the Redmi Note 11 Pro has a quad camera setup at the back with a 108MP primary unit. The other three sensors in the design are an 8MP ultrawide lens, a 2MP depth shooter and a 2MP macro sensor. There is a 16MP front facing for selfies and video calling.
