Ubisoft Montreal has given an update regarding the development of the Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time remake. The game has not been “cancelled” and is currently in development at Ubisoft Montreal. Currently, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake does not have a release date and players who pre-ordered the game have been refunded. Game pre-orders will once again go live once the new release date is announced. Ubisoft will share more details about the Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time remake in the coming months. Ubisoft is not currently planning a Prince of Persia remake.
While it’s reassuring to know that a Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time remake is in active development, it’s unclear when the game will actually be released. Sands of Time has been a fan favorite title for years. Fans have been waiting for this remake for years and they pre-ordered it when the first release date was announced.
