Pokemon is one of the greatest and longest running franchises in gaming. It has its own huge fan base which grows from strength to strength with each subsequent release. Speaking of which, we recently saw the release of a new Pokemon title. In the event, the game launched in two parts, Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet. Both games are very similar, but each has a certain unique Pokemon. Both games have a highly respectable score of 76 with 63 critic reviews. However, the audience score was very different with Scarlet and Violet scoring 2.9 and 3.9 respectively.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Reviews
IGN: Reviewer, Rebecca Valentine, gave He gave the game a score of six out of ten, saying, “I really believe that Scarlet and Violet’s bold new ideas are brilliant, if not refined – and I believe the same about Pokemon Legends: Arceus. But in both cases, many of the pillars that hold up those glowing concepts – the visual quality, the open -World detail, customization and technical soundness – either incomplete or actively crumbling.Scarlet and Violet is completely impossible to play and not at least notice its performance issues.
Polygon: The reviewer, Kenneth Shepard, also has a lot critical of the game. “I leave Scarlet and Violet with great enthusiasm for the future, but still: it’s a strange phenomenon to see an entire series cling to its identity and enter a new generation. Pokemon Legends: Arceus, for all its strengths, is a grain of sand in the microchip of Pokemon’s almost annual machine. But it has shown much promise in its fluid exploration, intuitive capture, and integrated systems. After 10 months, it’s a little disappointing to see Scarlett and Violet fall behind.
GameSpot: The reviewer, Jake Decker, is relatable More positive And gives the game a respectable eight out of 10. “Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are still the best mainline Pokemon games in years, even if the undercooked presentation and visual issues held the games back. They build on Pokemon Legends: Arceus’ open-ended design in some thoughtful and surprising ways, and retain the same level of depth that the mainline series is known for.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet: Gameplay
The basic premise of a Pokemon game is still in Scarlet and Violet, focusing on collecting wild animals. These can be collected by catching or trading. Once caught, the player can explore the world and battle other Pokemon trainers. Speaking of which, the game has an open world that includes urban and jungles. Furthermore, there are three progression paths available to players. It includes Path of Legends, Victory Road and Starfall Street. Each path covers a different plot. The game also features a new phenomenon called Terastall, which gives Pokemon a gem-like appearance. Thai changes the Pokemon to a Terra type, which unlocks new moves.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet: Price in India
Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet are only available for Nintendo Switch. That means they don’t have an exclusive online store in India. However, you can still purchase the digital edition of the game by paying in the currency of whatever region your Switch account is set to.
