Pathan is an upcoming Bollywood spy action thriller film directed by Siddharth Anand, which is all set for a much awaited theatrical release on January 25, 2023. The film will release in Hindi along with two dubbed versions: Tamil and Telugu. The film has created quite a buzz as the film has already given Shah Rukh Khan a huge fan following. According to reports, Pathan’s OTT rights have been acquired by Amazon Prime Video and the film is rumored to release on the platform in late March or early April.
Pathan is produced by Aditya Chopra under the Yash Raj Films banner and is the fourth installment in the YRF spy universe, which includes Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai and War. It was the first YRF film released by Dolby Cinema and the first film in Bollywood to be shot with IMAX cameras.

According to reports (by), Pathan’s worldwide OTT digital streaming rights to Amazon Prime Video for Rs. 100 crores were sold.
Pathan release date on OTT
Reports suggest that the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer will air on Amazon Prime Video in late March or early April. But there is no official information about the OTT release date of this movie yet.
Pathan cast
Directed by Siddharth Anand, the film stars Shah Rukh Khan as a RAW field agent, Deepika Padukone as Jim, John Abraham as Jim, Dimple Kapadia and Ashutosh Rana as Colonel Sunil Luthra. Audiences will also see a cameo by Salman Khan.
Pathan music has been composed by popular duo Vishal-Shekhar. However, netizens trolled and attacked Vishal-Shekhar on social media for writing a song for the recently released film Joom Jo Pathan.
Another controversy surrounded the film when Deepika Padukone insulted netizens and government officials for wearing a saffron bikini in the song Besharam Rang. This is because saffron in a bikini offends the sentiments of Hindus. Enraged by this, the fans demanded the expulsion of Pathan.
