According to a report from people at TheTechOutlook, the company may soon launch flagship smartphones under the “Thinkphone” sub-brand. It reveals key hardware details of the phone and gives us a first look at the Motorola ThinkPhone itself.

Motorola ThinkPhone Specifications, Design

Although the photos shared by TheTechOutlook are unclear, we can make out that the phone has a thin-bezel display with a 32MP center-aligned punch-hole front-facing camera. It has triple rear shooters housed in a curved panel on a square camera island: 50MP primary, 13MP ultrawide and 2MP depth. On the right side of the metal frame are the power button and volume rockers, and on the left is a possible alert slider.

According to the report, the overall footprint of the smartphone is 158.7 x 74.4 x 8.3 mm, and it should be light in hand at 189 grams. It is constructed with aramid fiber material. The device is IP68 water and dust-resistant. Some images also reveal that the ThinkPhone can share the screen and transfer files with Lenovo ThinkPad laptops.

The publication claims that the phone sports a 6.6-inch OLED panel that supports HDR10+ and a 144Hz refresh rate. Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC is paired with 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB/512GB storage. It supports 68W TurboPower fast charging and 15W wireless charging. We can expect it to ship with ThinkShield technology.

There is no word on the launch date of this smartphone, but we can witness it (by) scheduled for the first few months of the upcoming CES 2023 and Mobile World Congress 2023.
