The survey participants ranked itel as their preferred brand in terms of brand trust, price, after sales services, performance and durability.
“Sub-Rs. The 8,000 price segment is an important segment, with over 370 million consumers relying on feature phones and entry-level smartphones. This is also the section where many first-time mobile phone users begin their digital journey. Consumers in this price segment need support from mobile brands in terms of value for money, features and reliability,” Counterpoint Research analyst Arushi Chawla said in a statement.
According to the report, at least 76 percent of existing Itel users are willing to recommend the brand to others based on their overall experiences with the product. On the other hand, itel stood third in the mobile phone ownership category for users who spend less than Rs.8,000.
