Google Pixel Fold price, release timeline, and design revealed in major leak
Front Page Tech is pretty confident about some of the upcoming Google Pixel Fold features. The smartphone is expected to feature a prominent visor-like camera bump on the back, large display bezels and a hefty price tag. FPT’s Jon Prosser revealed in a video that the smartphone won’t launch until March 2023, which has long been rumored.
Google Pixel Fold Design
In terms of design, the Google Pixel FoldWhat is internally called Project “Passport” appears to have a similar shape to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4. The top and bottom bezels on Google’s foldable appear to be much thicker than what we see on Samsung’s foldable smartphone.
According to the report, the secondary display on the exterior has a centered punch hole, which allegedly houses the 9.5MP selfie camera. The fingerprint sensor is said to be built into the side power button, and the Google Pixel Fold will most likely have speakers on the bottom and top.
Google Pixel Fold Price, Release
There is a lot of speculation about the rumored Pixel Fold launch date or month. Google Pixel Fold was earlier said to launch in March 2023. However, according to the tipster, the Google Pixel Fold will be released in May 2023. As for the price, the foldable phone is priced at USD 1,799 (approx. Rs. 1,46,100), which is similar to the price of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4.
Google Pixel Fold Specifications
The Google Pixel Fold will be available in Chalk (White) and Obsidian (Black) colors. Earlier Reports The Google Pixel Fold is said to feature Samsung-made displays both externally and internally. The display has an average brightness of 800 nits with a maximum brightness of 1200 nits. Its internal flexible display supports a higher refresh rate, but not sure if it will go up to 120Hz.
The Google Pixel Fold has a triple rear camera setup. The primary sensor is referred to as the Sony IMX787 sensor. The system also includes an IMX386 ultra-wide lens and an S5K3J1 telephoto lens. The inner display houses the IMX355 sensor, while the outer display gets the S5K3J1 telephoto selfie.
