Vivo X90 and X90 Pro+ renders

The Vivo X90 series takes a page from the Vivo X80 Pro playbook. The phones have a large circular camera island with quad cameras on the back. In fact, both Vivo X90 and X90 Pro+ look similar to each other. They feature curved displays with a center punch-hole cutout for the front-facing camera. A noticeable difference between the two is that the camera module on the Vivo X90 Pro+ looks bigger than the one on the vanilla model.

The only red color option for the Vivo X90 and X90 Pro+ comes with a leather-like texture on the rear panel. We also see the words “Extreme Imagination” and “Vivo | Zeiss Co-Engineering” written on a black strip. The black and ice blue colors have a matte finish. Finally, the power button and volume controls can be seen on the right side of the frame.

As the standard model and the top-of-the-line Vivo X90 share a similar design, they look like they belong to the same family. For better or worse, this helps establish Vivo’s X-series design language, as all members of the lineup look a lot like the Vivo X80 Pro.

We also know that the Vivo X90 and X90 Pro+ will come with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage, at least in China. Furthermore, the Vivo X90 Pro+ is expected to feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, which is expected to go official from Qualcomm in the coming days.

The Vivo X90 series is all set to go on sale in China on November 22, the company has confirmed (by), and we expect to know more about these devices through leaks and official teasers in the coming days leading up to the launch event.
