In the last week, there has been an increase of 78 percent in corona cases as compared to the last seven days. The number of deaths reached 29 in a week, whereas in the first week this figure was 19.
The number of corona cases is the highest in the country after 22 October 2022. Then 1988 new cases of corona were registered.
8781 new cases in a week
In India from 19 to 25 March Corona virus 8781 new cases have been registered, which is 78 percent more than last week. Between 12 and 18 March, 4929 new cases of corona were registered. Then an 85 percent increase was seen in the corona case.
For the last 6 weeks, an increase in the cases of corona is being seen in the country. Talking about daily cases, they are doubling in 8 days. If we look at the figures of the last week, on an average 1254 corona cases are being reported daily. Eight days ago on March 17, this number was only 626.
Most cases in Maharashtra
Maharashtra is once again at the forefront of the Corona case. For the second consecutive week, the maximum number of corona cases were recorded in the state in the last seven days. Between March 19-25, 1956 new cases were registered in the state. In its last week, this number was 1165. The state has registered an increase of 68 percent in one week. Along with this, a sharp increase in the number of cases of Kovid-19 has also been observed in many other states.
