Airtel released last month List of eligible phones It can take advantage of its 5G services in India. The list includes phones from various brands, from Realme and Xiaomi to Samsung and OnePlus. Smartphone manufacturers are rolling out OTA updates to enable users to use the 5G network in India.
Commenting on its milestone of 10 lakh unique 5G users, Bharti Airtel CTO, Randeep Sekhon, said in a press release: “It is early days but the response from customers is very encouraging. Our network is being built daily as all 5G devices are now capable of working on the Airtel 5G Plus network, which should do so in the coming weeks, with few exceptions. We will continue to advance our network with the aim of connecting the entire country.”
