Aiden Markram: South African batsman Adam Markram will take charge of Sunrisers Hyderabad (srh) in IPL 2023. The SRH franchise announced his name for the captaincy of his team on Thursday (February 23) morning. Eden Markram faces a challenge from Mayank Agarwal for the SRH captaincy, but seeing Markram’s success as captain, Agarwal has backed out of the race.
South Africa won the Under-19 World Cup
South Africa have never won an ODI World Cup or a T20 World Cup at the international level till now. But this team won the Under-19 World Cup. Aiden Markram won the Under-19 World Cup for South Africa for the first time. In 2014, he captained the African Under-19 team. Along with the captaincy, he received this trophy by scoring the most runs for his team.
Sunrisers won their first SA20 title in the Eastern Cap
The Sunrisers franchise has also made Aden Markram the captain of his side in the South African T20 League (SA20). SRH’s performance has been very poor in the last two seasons
Sunrisers Hyderabad has been a complete flop in the last two IPL seasons. She ranked eighth in IPL 2021 and IPL 2022. The team last won the title in 2016. Aidan Markram is only 28 years old. Although he is not so effective in Tests and ODIs, he is showing excellent performance in T20s.
