As per the tipster digital chat station, the Vivo X Fold 2 will launch alongside the Vivo X Flip in the first half of 2022. However, the exact launch date is still a mystery. When released, it will compete with the likes of the upcoming Google Pixel Fold and Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4.
Moreover, the leaker suggests that the device will sport a 2K foldable display and both the cover and inner screens will have an under-display fingerprint scanner. The foldable phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The photography needs on the Vivo X Fold 2 are handled by the OIS-enabled Sony IMX866 primary camera.
