Ola S1 Air is Ola Electric’s cheapest offering in the country and is priced at Rs. 79,999 (ex-showroom). But the price is valid for a limited period and the scooter is priced at Rs. 84,999.

Ola Electric said it will start deliveries in the first half of 2023.

Ola S1 Air Specifications

Ola S1 Air at first glance has much of the same design but has been extensively changed. The floorboard is now flat, but under-seat boot space is down by two liters to 34 litres. The lower part of the bodywork is now unpainted plastic and the grab handles have been replaced with single-piece tubular ones, which are cheaper to manufacture. Even the seat has been redesigned for a simpler look.

Under the skin, the Ola S1 Air gets a small 2.5kWh battery pack that charges fully in 4 hours and 30 minutes. The motor produces 4.5kW of peak power and can propel the scooter from 0 to 40kmph in 4.3 seconds with a top speed of 85kmph. Ola S1 Air can achieve a range of 101 km on a single charge.

Ola Electric has ignored the fancier ride modes and kept it alone Eco, Normal and Sports in Ola S1 Air Electric Scooter. The S1 Air surprisingly sports a 7-inch TFT touchscreen and comes loaded with the latest Move OS 3.0 software. It continues to offer features such as reverse mode, hill-hold functionality and user profiles.

The S1 Air has a slightly more interesting design but comes with cheap pressed steel wheels. The scooter also gets more basic twin telescopic front forks and dual rear shock absorbers. The S1 Air also settles for a drum brake setup at both ends. The total weight of the S1 Air stands at 99kg, which is significantly lighter than the S1 and S1 Pro.
