Can be ordered through the new iPad Apple Store India and will be available in retail stores starting Wednesday, October 26. The Apple tablet comes in Blue, Pink, Yellow and Silver color options.
How does the iPad 10th generation differ from the iPad 9th generation?
First, the new iPad 2022 will come with an all-screen design. The tablet has thinner bezels while the Touch ID button moves to the top of the frame. Slimmer bezels mean the new iPad gets a slightly larger 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display as opposed to the 10.2-inch screen on the previous entry-level iPad.
Apple is also bringing some color to its new iPad, with the 10th generation model coming in four colors as opposed to the space gray and silver options of the 9th gen iPad.
There are several hardware-level upgrades with the new iPad. It is now powered by the A14 Bionic while its predecessor runs on the A13 Bionic. The rear camera has been upgraded from an 8MP sensor to a 12MP wide camera. The front camera now gets a 12MP landscape ultra-wide camera. The A14 bionic chip will also enable the cellular version of the new iPad 5G.
Notably, the iPad 10th generation model now comes with a USB-C connector, bringing it in line with its other iPad brethren. However, the new iPad continues to support the 1st generation Apple Pencil which charges via the Lightning connector. So, if you have a 1st generation Apple Pencil, you’ll need to purchase a USB-C to Apple Pencil adapter separately to charge the stylus via the new iPad. This adapter Its price in India is Rs. 900.
