Google’s premium smartphones have finally returned to the Indian market after a brief absence of three years. This week saw the global launch of the Google Pixel 7 series, which will go up against the Apple iPhone 14 series and the Samsung Galaxy S22 series for the title of best premium smartphone. The Google Pixel 7 is offered in only one version in the Indian market, with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage, priced at Rs 59,999.

The Google Pixel 7 looks similar to the previous Pixel 6 in terms of style, with a slightly smaller flat display on the front with a center punch-hole housing the selfie snapper and a visor on the back. Sustainable products are becoming more popular, and Google used recycled materials to create the Pixel 7. The dual camera array is tucked neatly into the visor, which this time is made of metal, and the phone weighs less than 200 grams with its curved sides. That helps with grip and in-hand feel. The iPhone 14 shares the same DNA as previous iPhone iterations. It weighs 172 grams and is comparable to the previous iPhone 13 model.
