Google Pixel Tablet Specifications

Confirmed at the I/O 2022 event in May, the Google Pixel tablet has finally entered the EVT stage. This means the tablet design goes through validation testing and is tested internally before finally going into mass production. Interestingly, Google has shipped some units to India for the EVT, which is a good sign to suggest that the tablet may also be launched in the country.

Kuba Wojciechowski has some key specifications of the upcoming Pixel tablet. According to him, the tablet will come with 128GB and 256GB storage options, a 10.95-inch display and Wi-Fi 6 support. He also spotted Google’s first-party USI 2.0 stylus for the Pixel tablet, which isn’t surprising since the tablet itself is already certified for USI.

Earlier, the Pixel tablet was the first device to ship with a 64-bit only version of Android 13 and featured dual cameras on the back. Wojciechowski It was earlier Said The Pixel tablet does not have GPS hardware or modem, proximity and barometer sensors. It also does not offer support for ‘high-fidelity’ sensor processing. Recently, another report surfaced that Google is working on a new Nest Hub with a dockable tablet form factor, where the screen will detach from the base.

Assuming the Pixel tablet lacks GPS hardware, modem and key sensors, it’s likely to be half the screen of the alleged Nest Hub and used at home while connected to Wi-Fi. Furthermore, the tablet is said to come with Google’s first-generation Tensor SoC.
