These vacancies are cleared by the Odisha Sub-Ordinate Staff Selection Commission, the details of which are as follows. A total of 5396 posts will be filled through this recruitment drive. There are 3099 posts of Junior Assistant and 2297 posts of Panchayat Executive Officer.
Who is eligible to apply?
Candidates who have completed graduation in 10+2+3 pattern can apply for the post of Junior Assistant. This degree can be taken in any subject in Arts, Science or Commerce. Along with this, candidates should have computer knowledge. For the post of Panchayat Executive Officer, candidates who have passed class 12 in any stream from 10+2 pattern can apply.
Age limit is fixed as 21 to 38 years. Age will be calculated from 1 January 2023 onwards. For reserved category there is relaxation in upper age limit as per government norms.
What is the choice?
Candidates will be selected for these posts on the basis of written test and practical test. First the written test will be conducted and then the practical test will be conducted. The written test will be of 180 marks in which each question will carry one mark. Duration of exam is three hours. And the practical test is computer skill test, which is of 50 marks and of one hour duration.
